Fashion Items
What Can Be Returned
- Unworn clothing with original tags attached
- Unworn shoes in their original box
- Accessories in original condition
- Items purchased within the last 30 days
What Cannot Be Returned?
- Items without original tags
- Clothing that has been worn beyond trying on
- Items showing signs of wear, alteration, or washing
- Items marked as “Final Sale” in-store or online
- Jewellery items that have been worn (for hygiene reasons)
Exchange & Refund Options
- Store Credit: Available for all eligible returns
- Refunds to the original payment method are available for items returned within 14 days.
- Exchanges: We’re happy to help you find the right size or colour
Beauty Products
What Can Be Returned
- Unopened skincare, makeup, and hair care products
- Items purchased within the last 30 days
- Products that caused an adverse reaction (with proof of purchase)
What Cannot Be Returned?
- Opened or used products (except in case of adverse reaction)
- Products with broken seals or missing packaging
- Sample sizes or gift-with-purchase items
- Items marked as “Final Sale.”
Special Consideration for Skin Reactions
If you have a negative reaction to a skincare product:
- Please return it within 7 days of initial use.
- Provide details about the reaction
- Our beauty specialists will assess the situation and process an appropriate refund

Service Satisfaction
- If you’re unhappy with a service, please let us know within 48 hours
- We’ll offer a complimentary re-do of the service
- If we cannot resolve the issue, we’ll provide store credit
Appointment Cancellations
- Cancel at least 24 hours before: Full refund
- Cancel between 12 and 24 hours before: 50% refund
- Cancel less than 12 hours before: No refund
- Exceptions made for documented emergencies
How to Make a Return
In-Store Returns
- Bring the item to our Saint Petersburg location
- Have your receipt or proof of purchase ready (we can also look up purchases by phone or email)
- Our team is here to help you with the return process.
- Refunds will be completed within 3 to 5 business days.
Online Returns
- Email info.hotscoped@gmail.com with:
- Your order number
- Items you wish to return
- Reason for return
- Preferred refund method
- We’ll send return instructions and a prepaid shipping label
- Pack items securely with all original packaging
- Ship returns within 7 days of receiving the return label
- Refunds will be processed within 5 to 7 business days after we receive your returned item.
Return Shipping
- Returns due to our error (wrong item, defective product): We cover shipping
- Returns for preference reasons (size, colour, changed mind): Customer responsible for return shipping
- We provide prepaid return labels for $6.95 (deducted from the refund amount)
Gift Returns
- Returns for gifts are issued as store credit
- Gift receipts can be provided at the time of purchase
- We never share purchase history with gift recipients
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged item or something different than what you ordered:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Include photos of the damaged or incorrect item
- We’ll arrange a replacement or full refund
- We’ll cover all shipping costs in these situations
Seasonal and Special Collection Items
- Limited edition items and seasonal collections may have different return windows
- These special return conditions will be clearly marked at the purchase
- Generally, seasonal items must be returned within 14 days
Sale Items
- Items discounted less than 30%: Standard return policy applies
- Items discounted 30-50%: Exchange or store credit only
- Items discounted more than 50%: All sales final unless defective
Our Quality Guarantee
Every product at Hotscope is carefully evaluated for quality before it reaches our shelves. If any item fails to meet reasonable quality expectations under normal use within 90 days of purchase, we’ll make it right—even beyond our standard return window.
Professional Judgment
Our founder, Marlen T., personally stands behind our return policy. In situations where our standard policy doesn’t provide a clear answer, we’ll use professional judgment and always aim to treat you fairly.
Price Adjustments
If an item you bought goes on sale within 7 days of your purchase, we’ll gladly refund you the difference. Please bring your receipt or contact us online.
Beauty Product Expiration
We monitor product freshness carefully. If you discover you’ve purchased an expired product from us:
- Return it immediately
- Receive a full refund plus a $10 store credit

Return Policy Updates
This policy may be updated occasionally. Changes will be posted in-store and online with an effective date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that transaction.
